Being PURPOSEFUL

Being LOVING (song #2, song #3).

Being GENEROUS song #1 , #2, #3, and the ECS  Eagles Cheerleaders Cheer!

Our chapel time is designed to instruct, inspire and enable students to live lives committed to Jesus Christ.  These lively, upbeat gatherings occur each week on Thursday in age-appropriate groups and once a month as an entire school.  We use our chapels as wonderful opportunities to recognize and praise God for His work in and through the lives of ECS students.

Guests and staff members use energy, humor, and enthusiasm to share God's Word in ways that are relevant and applicable to the lives of young people.  Each chapel includes worship and music to help students experience the joy of praising the Lord

D.E.E.P. Program

In conjunction with our All-School chapels on the 1st Thursday of the month, we have an awesome leadership program involving 7th and 8th graders facilitating small groups of younger students.  Mentor teachers assist these leaders in training as they guide the groups through discussion, games, and activities to further build on monthly chapel themes.  It's a highlight for all the kids.

D.E.E.P. stands for:

  • Develop leadership and role modeling skills
  • Encourage spiritual growth
  • Exercise creative thinking/problem solving abilities
  • Promote school unity

We say the following pledges at each chapel:

American Flag (You know this one!)

Christian Flag:  I pledge allegiance to the Christian Flag and to the Savior for whose Kingdom it stands. One Savior, crucified, risen, and coming again with life and liberty to all who believe.

Bible:  I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God's Holy Word, I will make it a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path and will hide its words in my heart that I might not sin against God.
