Our middle school teaching staff specializes in integrating each subject with biblical principles aimed at the development of a Christian worldview. Core subject areas include English, math, science/health, history, and Bible. Other specific course offerings include drama, Spanish, P.E., band, computer, choir, and art. Students participate in weekly chapels and are encouraged to take an active role in community service projects. The middle school program is specifically designed to prepare students for high school level course work, including opportunities for achieving high school credit in Spanish and mathematics. "Through an in-depth study of the book of Acts, students will learn about living out their beliefs in the face of adversity and challenges. Students will be exposed to introductory methods of inductive Bible study and practice using spiritual disciplines such as scripture memorization, etc. A strong emphasis is placed on encouraging students to live fully for Christ and to take the Christian faith on themselves, rather than simply accepting it as a "family tradition." Seventh & Eighth Grade Bible Theme: Preparing for a Life of Ministry (more details here) "Seventh and eighth grade students will learn the basic principles and tools of inductive Bible study, and become equipped in basic apologetics through addressing the most common issues/questions brought against the Bible and the Christian faith. Students will learn about their own spiritual gifts and how God desires to use them in ministering to others while experiencing the joy of service.
